Privacy Policy

No Server Communication

WLED to xLights Mapper does not send any data to any server. The app communicates only with your local WLED controller over your local Wi-Fi network. No information about your device, usage, or LED setup ever leaves your local network.

No Personal Data Storage

WLED to xLights Mapper captures no personal data — no name, email address, location, or health information is collected or stored at any point.

The only information stored on your device is your WLED controller's connection details (name and IP address), saved locally so you can reconnect without re-entering them. This data never leaves your device.

No Analytics or Tracking

No analytics SDK, crash reporter, or advertising framework is included in the app. There is no tracking of usage patterns, sessions, or user behaviour. No data leaves your device for any measurement or reporting purpose.

No Internet Requirement

The app works entirely on your local Wi-Fi network. No account is required, there is no cloud sync, and no external API calls are made. You can use the app in a fully isolated network environment with no internet access.

Camera — Local Processing Only

Camera and ARKit data is used to map LED positions and is processed entirely on your device. No images, video frames, or depth data are stored to disk or transmitted anywhere. Camera access is used only during an active scan session and is not used in the background.
